Home Health Services Home Health assists patients who need professional healthcare services on a part-time or intermittent basis and wish to receive these services in the comfort of their own home. Working directly with patients and their families, registered nurses provide these services, which include patient education on specific health problems, nutrition, dressing changes, medication regimen, and much more. Intravenous therapy for nutrition, antibiotics, pain management, fluid replacement and chemotherapy is also available in the home. Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration and most private insurance policies offer financial assistance for Home Health Care Services. KCMC Home Health can assist you in obtaining benefits you are eligible to receive. Anyone interested in Home Health Care Services can receive a free evaluation either at home or while in the hospital. We'll provide you with an individualized program of assistance addressing your specific needs. KCMC Home Health is licensed by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and is an approved provider for Medicare and Medicaid recipients. The agency is also accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as providing quality care.
