Diagnostics
When you need advanced diagnostics, it’s comforting to know your local hospital offers advanced technology, just minutes from where you live. Our diagnostic services include three X-ray rooms -- one specific for fluoroscopy examinations such as barium examinations of the GI system and colon exams, one specific for performing kidney exams such as intravenous pyelograms and one for routine X-rays of the chest, spine and extremities.
Lab Services
The KCMC Clinical Laboratory offers comprehensive services to assist in diagnosing disease, monitoring health and evaluating therapy. Services include Anatomical Pathology (Surgical Pathology and Cytology), and Clinical Laboratory Analysis (Microbiology, Hematology, Immunohematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunology, and Chemistry). The full service lab is open 24 hours/ day, 7 days a week for inpatient tests. Outpatient testing is provided Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. Appointments are not required and pre-registration is available by calling 713-6160.
Radiology
Our Radiology Department includes Mammography, 64-slice CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Bone Densitometry, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy.

Radiology services at West Wateree Medical Complex include diagnostic X-rays such as chest, spine, and extremities. Screening mammograms, as well as limited ultrasound procedures may also be performed.
