Computed Tomography – 64-slice CT
CT scans give radiologists a detailed image of the body for diagnosis of many illnesses that may involve the head, chest, abdomen or musculoskeletal system. The CT scanner at KCMC is equipped with spiral capabilities that offer the fastest scanning time at the lowest dose of radiation possible to maintain superior image quality. The extra large gantry aids in performing studies on patients who are claustrophobic. All CT scans are performed by registered technologists who have had additional training and / or certification in CT.
